Michael McCourt, President
and CEO
Michael
is not your typical security consultant. His ability to understand
the unusual challenges of today's organizations, his belief that
security only thrives within accepting cultures, his willingness
to listen first and solve later, and his ability to work seamlessly
with any level of an organization have provided the basis for
more than three decades of successful security management consulting.
A requested speaker and author, Michael
has addressed audiences on two continents, and virtually every
major market in the United States. He was an adjunct instructor
for the USDA Graduate School in Washington D.C., and a former
adjunct instructor for Boston University's Corporate Education
Center, where he developed and facilitated courses on leadership,
team building, and negotiation skills. He is a contributing author
to several books on security and crisis management, including
the book, Business
Security…Protect Your Business Against Threats Internally
& Externally.
Recent consulting engagements include
the design and development of threat assessment protocols, crisis
management procedures and consequence management strategies for
flagship corporations including General Dynamics, State Street
Corporation, Kronos Incorporated, and Mercury Computer. A sampling
of speaking engagements include the 2006 annual conference of
the Transportation Research Board in Washington DC, the 2006 annual
conference of the Chain Restaurant Compensation Association in
Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and the 2006 Advanced Employee Issues Symposium,
in both Chicago and Las Vegas, sponsored by M. Lee Smith Publishers,
LLC.
Michael currently serves as the director
of Risk Management for APT Management, Incorporated, a leading
property management firm with headquarters in Woburn, Massachusetts.

Stress Management Program for the Massachusetts Port Authority.

College.

Karate)…golf (despite his triple digit handicap)…and
